Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is a Filipino American model, television host, comic and host. The new queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban has been hailed as being among the most seasoned and versatile actresses in the Philippines. In 2017, Angelica competed in season 12 on America's Got Talent where she made it to the auditions round with her rendition of Rise Up by Andra Day. Angelica got the gold buzzer of the guest judge Chris Hardwick in the Judge Cuts Round, after she performed Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. She was then sent straight into the live show. On the Live Shows, she performed Clarity (by Zedd) in the Quarterfinals as well as without You (by David Guetta) for the Semifinals. Angelica went on to the finals of the competition where she performed Symphony in Clean Bandit. On the episode of the results, she performed "Stronger" along with Kelly Clarkson. She was the youngest contestant to be second. The year 2012 was the year that Angelica Hale was just 4 years old she became very sick with a double pneumonia attributed to a severe strep pneumonia bacterial infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO, a life-saving intervention. Her condition was a result of numerous organ problems, including the failure of her kidneys. The patient was required to change her life around hemodialysis, and later on peritoneal dialysate. After spending over 80 days in hospital, she went from being in danger of death to an extended recuperation road. After a year and a half of dialysis Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery in her life: a kidney transplant. The kidney she would receive from only her mother. In September 2013, Angelica and her mom underwent the successful transplantation of their kidney at two amazing hospitals located right across from each other: the Memory University Hospital as well as Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's ambition to be the world's most famous person has never wavered.
